POSITION PURPOSE:
The Commercial Analyst learns ICM’s business, the ethanol industry, and our customers from the ground up and grows into a larger commercial role over time. Work alongside experienced leaders to turn data into insights that directly shape how the commercial team sets strategy and serves customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
• Learn the business: Build a strong understanding of ICM’s business, the ethanol industry, and the customers we serve.
• Drive strategy with data: Gather and analyze data that helps the commercial team form strategies.
• Support the CRM: Help keep customer and opportunity information up to date while learning how the commercial team turns CRM insights into market intelligence and future growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments: Work side by side with commercial, engineering, project management, and business development teams to see how every part of ICM fits together, building relationships and a big-picture view of the business, plus occasional opportunities to support customer interactions.
• Take ownership of assigned data, reports, and projects from start to finish.
• Communicate findings clearly and collaborate across the commercial team.
• Grow into greater responsibility as industry knowledge and skills develop.
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
Required Knowledge & Experience:
• Experience with CRM is helpful, but not required
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of general office equipment required
