Allegiance Home Care is an established home care agency reaching from Fort Collins to Castle Rock. We pride ourselves in providing caring, quality service to our clients. Allegiance is currently seeking experienced caregivers to work with our clients in the following areas: DENVER (Saturday and Sunday evening 6:00PM to 11:00PM only!!) All applicants for this client must be female as there is "intimate care" provided (dressing/undressing and bed-bathing a male client) and this client will not accept a male caregiver.
6:00PM to 11:00PM on Saturday and Sunday! $20.00/hr plus $1.50/hr weekend bonus
You may be required to occasionally do a bowel program if client is constipated but it is not regularly scheduled
Parking is provided! Centrally located at 13th Avenue and I-25!!
Experience is REQUIRED as this is an IHSS client. We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team at Allegiance Home Care. As this client is complex, he never cancels shifts so our hours are reliable and you must be reliable also!
We offer:
- Competitive pay ($20.00/hr + $1.50/hr weekend bonus)
- Client prefers a candidate who can speak some Spanish (does not need to be fluent)
- Client-specific training and continuing education is provided and paid!
- Medical/Health/Dental benefits are available for those who work 30+ hrs/wk after the benefit waiting period
Job Requirements:
- Must have their own vehicle to drive to work as the client sometimes requires and errand to be run (the use of ride share services or public transportation does not meet this criteria)
- Must be able to provide us with a fixed schedule of availability and work the hours committed to upon time of hire.
- 1 year of caregiving experience and/or a CNA is preferred but not required
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S., be able to pass mandatory state and federal background checks and have a negative drug test.
- Good attendance, punctuality, teamwork, and have a patient and positive attitude!
Job Description:
Provides Health Maintenance Activities and support for activities of daily living which include homemaking and personal care services for the client in his/her home as identified. Tasks vary by client but may include:
- Positioning, transfers, ambulation, and exercises.(including a full-body transfer into bed - male client who weighs 95-100 lbs)
- Bowel/Bladder care including perineal care.
- Assistance with daily hygiene activities
- Medication reminder.
- Assist with nourishment and fluid needs including preparing meals and offering fluids.
- Provide protective oversight as needed.
- Observe and report any changes from normal to the licensed professional.
- Observe and maintain the home environment.
- Assist with household chores including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Assist in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside the home
- Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and other assignments included in the service plan.
