Quality Technician | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
- Identify, report, and quarantine non-conforming materials and products.
- Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support the calibration and maintenance schedule for quality inspection equipment.
- Contribute to the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Basic understanding and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
- Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or practical application experience
