Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This long-term contract position involves working on modernizing and enhancing our Digital Academy software, a platform widely used by educators and trainers. The role emphasizes front-end development while offering opportunities to contribute across the full stack.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack web applications with a strong focus on front-end performance and usability.
• Collaborate on the modernization of the Digital Academy platform, enhancing features like lesson planning, grading, and attendance tracking.
• Lead the migration of front-end components from Angular to Vue.js, ensuring a seamless transition.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub for project tracking and version control.
• Implement and optimize APIs to support application functionality.
• Participate in Agile Scrum processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project goals.
• Apply best practices in bug tracking and resolution to maintain system reliability.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience and application performance.• Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
• Experience with backend development using technologies like ASP.NET and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including C++.
• Familiarity with API development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in debugging and testing, including A/B testing.
• Knowledge of web technologies like AJAX for dynamic application functionality.
