What you’ll do as a Chief Information Officer (CIO):

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic IT vision that supports and enhances IP Corporation’s operational, commercial, and manufacturing capabilities. This role will lead all aspects of information technology, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, data analytics, and digital innovation—ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

What you can expect to do as a Chief Information Officer (CIO):

  • Strategic Leadership:
    1. Develop and execute a long-term IT roadmap aligned with business strategy, growth goals, and evolving customer expectations.
    2. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology trends and capabilities.
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation:
    1. Identify opportunities to digitize and automate core operations, including supply chain, manufacturing, and sales.
    2. Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other key platforms.
  • Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
    1. Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and infrastructure to protect IP, customer data, and operational systems.
    2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and any IT-related compliance standards.
  • Data & Analytics:
    1. Build enterprise-wide data governance and analytics capabilities to support real-time decision-making.
    2. Leverage data to improve forecasting, inventory management, and customer insight.
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure:
    1. Oversee the reliability and scalability of IT systems, hardware, and networks across all sites.
    2. Manage IT vendors and service providers to ensure performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership:
    1. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT team.
    2. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for in a Chief Information Officer (CIO):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or chemical industry strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of ERP systems, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Proven track record of aligning IT with business objectives to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.

The annual salary range below is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Transparency Range

$287,000.00 — $375,000.00 USD
