Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate: $32–$36 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: 3 Month Taining Day Shift 7-4, Perm Shift 4pm-12pm

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical maintenance for injectors, blow molding machines and other manufacturing maintenance. We are ideally looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience who is capable of more than just routine preventive maintenance. This is a hands-on role requiring problem-solving and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take direction as well as work independently
  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical equipment and building, including ceiling cranes
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults of electrical apparatus
  • Apply electrical knowledge in an industrial setting
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet build and maintenance goals
  • Maintain documentation on repairs, installations, and equipment performance
  • Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures, tools, and practices
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments proficiently

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical degree or electrical trade certification REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience with strong mechanical skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial machinery and fabrication
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
  • Experience with basic welding, metalwork, and component assembly
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical codes
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
