Services may include Respite, Attendant Care and/or Habiliation
- Respite Care:

- Offers temporary relief to primary caregivers, allowing them time to rest or attend to other responsibilities.
- Engages with clients in their homes or in specialized facilities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Tailors activities to suit the individual needs and interests of each client, including recreational activities or simple companionship.
- Attendant Care:

- Assists clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Helps with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
- Provides support with mobility, including transfers and assistance with walking or wheelchair use.
- Monitors medication schedules and assists with basic healthcare needs.
- Habilitation Services:

- Focuses on developing and maintaining the life skills of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Creates and implements personalized habilitation plans targeting areas such as communication skills, social skills, and self-care.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and speech therapists, to provide a holistic approach to care.
- Regularly evaluates and adjusts habilitation plans based on the individual's progress and changing needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A current CPR certificate
- A current First Aid certificate
- A current Article 9 certificate
- Fingerprint clearance card
- 18 years of age
- A completed declaration of criminal history
- Maintains and demonstrates competence in the field of developmental disabilities.
