Nexus Power is an electrical manufacturer's representative agency based in Salt Lake City, with teams across the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest. We connect leading manufacturers like ABB with the distributors, contractors and engineers who build commercial, industrial and utility projects. Our Billings team handles the quoting and project work behind those projects.

The role
\n
\n
We're looking for an Inside Projects Manager to lead our commercial project management team. Our project managers own commercial electrical projects from purchase order to closeout, and you'll ensure they have the support, training and structure to do it well. You'll balance workloads, step in on complex jobs, and build the standard way we run every project.
\n
This role is a great fit for an experienced electrical project manager who's ready to lead a team, or a team lead who wants to build something that lasts.

What you'll do
\n
\n
- \n
- Lead, coach and train a team of commercial project managers.
- Assign projects by complexity and keep workloads balanced.
- Review complex projects early and help the team head off risks.
- Build standard procedures for project setup, job folders and NetSuite.
- Partner with quotations, account managers and manufacturers to keep projects on track.
- Align with our Industrial project engineering team on shared tools and processes.
- Help improve our tools and processes, including practical uses of AI.

What you bring
\n
\n
- \n
- 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects from PO to closeout.
- Working knowledge of one-line diagrams and electrical specifications.
- 1+ years of experience leading people, formally or as a team lead.
- Strong organization and steady follow-through across many projects at once.
- Clear, confident communication with customers and manufacturers.
- Bonus: experience at a rep agency, distributor or manufacturer, and experience with ABB Empower, Salesforce or NetSuite.
