Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of daily operations for a high-volume, full-service family dining restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of driving sales, developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving strong financial results. This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational consistency.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members to build a strong, engaged workforce.
  • Drive sales growth while managing labor, food cost, inventory, and overall profitability.
  • Analyze P&L statements, sales reports, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health department, and company standards.
  • Create and manage employee schedules to optimize staffing and control labor costs.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally while fostering a culture focused on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards for restaurant appearance, equipment maintenance, and operational execution.
  • Lead by example during peak meal periods, providing hands-on support to both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Partner with district leadership to execute company initiatives, achieve performance goals, and support business growth.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume full-service or family dining restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing managers and building successful teams.
  • Proven ability to manage restaurant financials, including P&L, labor, food cost, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in breakfast, family dining, or 24-hour restaurant concepts is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health department compliance.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
