IT Applications Manager - Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, ERP, SQL, Supply Chain and Financial Systems
Base salary up to $170,000 depending on experience and skills with a discretionary bonus
Hybrid - Local Candidates ONLY please, as this position is onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, remote on Monday and Friday.
Position Overview
The IT Applications Manager will oversee the implementation, upgrades, operations and management of technology solutions that support the supply chain and finance functions of the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency through effective application management and data reporting. This is a new role which will not have any direct reports to begin with, so you must be hands-on. As the position evolves the team might grow to 4+ members.
Key Responsibilities
- Critical Responsibility - Design and create business intelligence reporting, using SQL and other tools to create data analytics and insights for decision-making. Create critical dashboards for reporting.
- Lead the upgrades, enhancements and integrations of ERP systems relevant to supply chain and finance applications.
- Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to understand their technology needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Oversee cloud-based solutions that support supply chain and financial operations.
- Oversee vendors and lead and mentor team members.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve supply chain and finance processes.
- Up to 25% travel to divisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a focus on supply chain and finance applications.
- Critical skill - Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and creating reports and dashboards.
- Experience in Supply Chain (distribution, inventory processes, etc) is critical.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems and integrations.
- Excellent reporting skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools .
- Experience with EDI is a plus.
