AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR / SERVICE WRITER
Nucar Automall of Allentown has an opening for an Automotive Service Advisor for our Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram service department. Are you highly motivated and eager to learn? Automotive Service Writer Job Responsibilities:
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
- Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, causes and services required or requested
- Maintains excellent customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, along with obtaining client approval of estimates
- Verifies warranty and services contract coverage by examining records, and explaining provisions and exclusions to customers
- Maintains professional appearance and excellent work ethics
- Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Positive professional attitude
- Strong communication skills; oral and written
- Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language to clients
- Prior experience in automotive service writing a must
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Team oriented, flexible and committed to maintaining a high level of customer service
