ITnova is seeking a Voice (VoIP) Specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise voice systems, ensuring high-quality communication, reliability, and integration with IT infrastructure.
Duties:
- Design entire networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages
- Planning, designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining the implementation of the Voice infrastructure including hardware/software recommendations
- Managing day-to-day delivery of services (VOIP, SIP, ACD, Carrier Network) to ensure adherence to defined service levels
- Installation, administration, operation, trouble diagnosis and maintenance of VoIP, unified communications and call center equipment for major relocation actions
- Able to troubleshoot with the Network team on network issues related to VOIP technologies
- Ensuring the development of documentation, including appropriate policies and procedures for all aspects of VoIP network
- Performing customer assessments, design, build, and technical documentation in support of the organization
- Able to capture, analyze and troubleshoot SIP header detail with knowledge of how to configure SBC's for header manipulation for redirect and presentation as required
- Provide Tier 1+/Tier 2 troubleshooting to resolve common issues with Cisco VoIP phones and Cisco VTC codecs
- Deploy and provision new VoIP handsets
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technical, Engineering, Education, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Voice, Information Technology, Telecommunications
Preferred Certifications: CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, CCVP, or CCIE.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in voice and video technologies
- Proficient with C/C++, Unix/Linux, and embedded development
- Hands-on experience in production and lab environments with IP platforms
- Ability to work on Windows-7, windows-8, Unix and Linux Operating System
- Hands-on experience in Network routers and devices
