Role Description The Front Desk Staff role is a part-time, on-site position located in Mary Esther, FL. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. Day-to-day tasks include answering phone calls, handling reservations and cancellations, processing payments, and resolving guest inquiries or concerns in a timely, professional manner. The Front Desk Staff also assists with maintaining lobby appearance, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and following hotel policies and safety procedures. The position requires consistent, reliable attendance, flexibility with scheduling, and a strong focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.\n

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented approach to guest interactions.

  • Receptionist duties and front desk experience, including handling reservations, check-in/check-out, and basic administrative tasks.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact clearly with guests, colleagues, and management.

  • Phone etiquette and computer literacy, including use of reservation systems, email, and standard office software.

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Prior hospitality or hotel front desk experience preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
