We're seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team, supporting on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment and related electrical systems. You'll work independently from a fully equipped service truck, providing field support on behalf of us across the region.
Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair diesel & gas generators (5KW-3MW)

Work on switchgear, ATS systems, control panels, and electrical distribution equipment

Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance

Use diagnostic tools such as ET, SIS, and other software

Provide excellent customer service & technical support on behalf of our company

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety standards
Key Competencies
-
Experience with major generator brands: CAT, Cummins, Generac, Kohler, Detroit Diesel

Familiarity with switchgear brands such as Russelectric, Lakeshore, Asco
-
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities

Ability to interpret wiring schematics & control diagrams

Military or field-based technical experience is a strong plus

Comfortable working independently in outdoor environments

Must provide and safely use personal mechanic's tools
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Completion of a 2-year technical program in diesel or power generation technology
-
5+ years hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, generators, or industrial equipment
