Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with the evaluation and assessment process within school settings
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices for student support
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience in K-12 environments preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and psychological assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Interpret assessment results and clearly communicate findings to teachers, parents, and stakeholders
- Offer consultation and guidance to educators on social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Engage in data-driven decision making to track progress and outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district protocols
