About the Role

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the design, programming, commissioning, and startup of automated assembly equipment for automotive manufacturing applications.

This position offers hands-on involvement throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept development and controls design through customer installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and production support.

  • HMI design and implementation
  • Servo and motion control systems
  • Industrial robotics integration
  • Automated assembly equipment
  • Machine commissioning and startup
  • Controls documentation and electrical design support

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting automotive manufacturing operations
  • Experience with Japanese automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is highly valued
  • Experience with automated assembly, manufacturing, or machine-building environments
  • Experience commissioning and troubleshooting industrial automation systems

Controls & Automation Experience

  • Strong PLC programming experience
  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs strongly preferred
  • Experience with Omron PLCs highly preferred
  • Experience with Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs may be considered
  • HMI development experience
  • Industrial networking and communication protocols
  • Servo systems, VFDs, and motion control
  • Robotics integration and programming

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field

Equivalent hands-on industry experience will also be considered
