Join a team where materials become light. In this role, you’ll help transform InP and GaAs wafers into finished semiconductor lasers by partnering closely with wafer processing engineers and executing the hands-on steps that make performance possible.
Your mission
- Work alongside wafer processing engineers to fabricate InP and GaAs–based semiconductor lasers.
- Own critical portions of the laser fabrication process, from careful handling to assembly tasks.
- Operate inspection tools to capture measurements and interpret data for next-step decisions.
- Keep digital information organized through disciplined computer file management.
You’ll thrive here if you bring
- Prior exposure to semiconductor wafer processing (preferred).
- Steady hands and keen eyesight using microscopes, tweezers, and similar fine-assembly tools with compound semiconductor wafers.
- Confidence with computers for data collection, basic analysis, and documentation.

- Pay: $14.50 – $19.50 DOE
- Hours: Monday–Friday, Day & Night shift
