RN Registered Nurse Supervisor

Weekend Position- work every weekend, or every other weekend

** also available- Full Time Evening Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the nursing staff on our weekend shifts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

About the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Role:
As an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising a team of Registered Nurses and other healthcare staff on weekend shifts

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans

• Providing guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care

• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective care delivery

• Maintaining accurate records and reports

• Identifying and addressing potential issues and concerns, and implementing corrective actions as needed

RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department on weekend shifts

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for nursing practice

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of New York

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse

• Strong leadership and supervision skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Flexibility to work weekends and variable shifts
