Job Title: Hoist/Equipment Technician
Job Description
The Hoist/Equipment Technician will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining automotive lifts, lube equipment, and other related equipment at various customer locations, such as car dealerships, mechanic shops, and municipal shops. The role includes maintaining the company vehicle, managing parts inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and office personnel are essential.
Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical experience.
- Ability to work with computers and run diagnostics.
- Organization and people skills.
- Self-starter and dependable nature.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience with small or heavy construction equipment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Clean driving record.
- CDL or willingness to obtain one.

Work Environment
This role involves working with a specialty contractor that designs, installs, and provides service support in Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will have the opportunity to take home a company truck, especially if you demonstrate reliability and strong work ethics. The position requires comfort with physical work and getting dirty, alongside a diverse group of team members with interests in fishing, hunting, and sports. Work hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7 or 8 am, with 8-10 hour shifts and potential overtime. Enjoy a dynamic work environment with varied tasks and ample growth opportunities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINS, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
