Location: Solar Swim & Gym Antioch, CA
Schedule: Part-time / Flexible weekday and weekend shifts
Reports To: Program Director / Head Manager
About the Role
The Fitness Coach with a soccer background will lead classes and clinics that combine conditioning, teamwork, and technical skill-building. The ideal candidate will create a positive environment that encourages confidence, fitness, and sportsmanship in young athletes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead youth soccer fitness sessions focusing on coordination, endurance, and teamwork.
Incorporate soccer drills that improve agility, balance, speed, and ball control.
Adapt training plans to accommodate various ages and skill levels, including inclusive and neurodivergent learners.
Reinforce sports values like discipline, respect, and effort through active learning.
Work with the Solar Swim & Gym team to integrate soccer into cross-training and fitness programs.
Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and participation.
Qualifications
Background in soccer (coaching, competitive play, or conditioning training).
Experience teaching or coaching children or youth athletes.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
Knowledge of warm-up routines, conditioning, and injury prevention.
