The role

Company is hiring a Healthcare Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare architecture/design projects. This person owns the full project lifecycle—schedule, budget, team coordination, client communication, and delivery quality—while working closely with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role with a consistent in-office expectation to support team collaboration and project execution.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead healthcare architecture and design projects from kickoff through closeout—on time, on budget, and to a high quality bar
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders; drive clear, consistent communication
  • Coordinate multi-discipline teams (architects, designers, engineers, contractors) to keep delivery aligned and efficient
  • Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation; adjust quickly as project needs shift
  • Maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and healthcare standards (safety + accessibility)
  • Bring strong coordination capabilities across MEP, structural, and vendor partners across different delivery methods
  • Partner with healthcare providers to understand workflows and patient-care priorities and reflect them in design/execution
  • Run project meetings and presentations; report progress, milestones, risks, and decisions
  • Identify project risks early and drive mitigation plans
  • Stay current on healthcare design trends and best practices; contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
  • Mentor team members and participate in broader Healthcare Studio initiatives

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
  • 7+ years of related experience, with healthcare facilities exposure
  • Strong project management skills with a detailed, organized operating style
  • Tools: Jira, Deltek, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM (working proficiency)
  • Preferred: PMP, AIA, or NCIDQ certification

Compensation + benefits

  • Full technology setup for home office
  • Benefits package includes:
    • Employer-paid: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short/Long Term Disability, AD&D
    • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
    • 401(k)
    • Paid Time Off + flex paid holidays
    • Voluntary benefits (including pet insurance and life insurance)
    • Monthly technology/phone reimbursement and parking reimbursement
