Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering or Construction Management graduate who is detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in pursuing a career in Project Management and Estimating rather than traditional design work. This role offers an opportunity to work on construction-focused projects while developing skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications and prepare accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Participate in industry-specific project management training.
- Fulfill documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong aptitude for numbers, data analysis, and attention to detail.
- Interest in project management and estimating rather than design work.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Project Management course or certification program (preferred).
- Familiarity with construction processes (preferred).
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lees Summit, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
