Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the setup and preparation of election polling sites, ensuring all required materials and equipment are in place.
• Oversee the management of polling site operations on election day, addressing any logistical issues promptly.
• Collect and organize all necessary paperwork and documentation related to election proceedings.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with election regulations.
• Provide clerical support, including data entry and filing, to ensure efficient workflow.
• Communicate effectively with team members and election staff to address concerns and facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues that arise during election processes.
• Ensure all election materials are properly stored and accounted for after polling concludes.• Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle election logistics efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and resolve issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Familiarity with basic office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in paperwork and operations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings during elections.
