Seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer (Contractor) to support Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) New Product Development initiatives. This role supports a senior project lead and is responsible for day-to-day execution, with strong emphasis on vendor coordination, material delivery, and project schedule accountability in a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute operational project plans and deliverables in support of CRM NPD programs.
- Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Coordinate external vendors, track material deliveries, and hold suppliers accountable.
- Interface with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Material Compliance teams.
- Maintain project plans using MS Project or Smartsheet.
- Prepare status reports and lead working meetings.
- Clarify design intent when interfacing with vendors and partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and independent working ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical device experience.
- Knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO 13485.
- Vendor management experience.
