Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott LLP (PBFCM) has an immediate opening for a ReceptionistLegal Assistant.

PBFCM has been in business since 1970. We represent more than 2‚000 governmental entities in Texas – school districts‚ cities‚ counties‚ hospital districts‚ appraisal districts and special districts. We have grown steadily every year. We currently have 11 offices across Texas‚ with over 50 attorneys and more than 400 employees. Founded on the principles of honesty and ethical conduct. Our Receptionist Legal Assistant role has several Essential job functions:

Greet all guests and visitors • Handle incoming calls.• Perform general administrative duties • Assist other administrative staff with overflow work • Receive, log and deliver incoming deliveries and overnight packages •Prepare Original Petitions and Citations when required•Generate Dismissals, Non Suits and Release of Judgment when required •Track the litigation cost and send court cost letters when necessary •Maintain and update computer data bases.

• This position will also be responsible for performing other related support duties/office tasks, such as processing mail, faxing, emailing, etc. and litigation documents in DocuWare

The candidate we're looking for has:

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent with 1-3 years of office experience.
  • Has knowledge office procedures, and operation of office machines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Well organized.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
