Administrative Assistant
Buffalo Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a highly organized, motivated, friendly, and personable Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working with numbers and technology, and takes pride in keeping projects, information, and people organized.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem solver who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and demonstrates initiative, professionalism, flexibility, and excellent attention to detail. Because this position will work with confidential business, employee, and patient-related information, discretion and confidentiality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to leadership and assist with a variety of day-to-day operational needs.
- Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and presentations.
- Work with data and numbers, including compiling information, performing calculations, and preparing reports.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files and confidential records.
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, special projects, and follow-up activities.
- Navigate multiple computer systems, software platforms, and online portals efficiently.
- Communicate professionally and in a friendly, approachable manner with physicians, employees, vendors, and outside organizations.
- Track projects, deadlines, and outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
- Identify issues, research solutions, and take initiative to move projects forward.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Assist leadership with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Flexibility and the ability to adapt as priorities and business needs change.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the team.
- Excellent judgment and a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
- Dependability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
Notary Public certification is a plus, but is not required.
