Position Overview:
The Inventory & Security Control Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of an organization's inventory while maintaining robust security protocols to protect assets. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory management processes, conducting regular audits, and implementing control measures to prevent loss, theft, or damage. The officer collaborates closely with various departments to streamline inventory tracking and enhance security systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. By analyzing inventory data and security reports, the officer identifies potential risks and develops strategies to mitigate them effectively. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/ GED, Supply Chain Management, Security Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, asset management, or security operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and security systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct audits and analyze inventory data effectively.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards related to inventory and security.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely updates in inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular physical audits and reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce security protocols to protect inventory and company assets from theft, loss, or damage.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to coordinate inventory control and security measures.
- Investigate and report any inventory variances, security breaches, or suspicious activities promptly to management.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inventory transactions, security incidents, and audit findings.
- Train staff on inventory handling procedures and security best practices to promote compliance and awareness.
- Utilize security technology such as surveillance systems and access controls to monitor and safeguard inventory areas.
