We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in supporting IT infrastructure upgrades across multiple locations nationwide. The position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively during third-shift hours.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre- and post-validation of IT equipment during infrastructure upgrades across over 4,300 locations.
• Provide technical support to ensure smooth execution of switch upgrade projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.
• Document network configurations and updates with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to address technical challenges and improve processes.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity problems.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is functioning properly before and after upgrades.
• Respond to technical inquiries and offer solutions to users experiencing issues.
• Maintain organized records of all technical support activities and updates.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for IT support services.
• Proven experience in IT Help Desk and Technical Support roles.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and its troubleshooting.
• Experience in network documentation and configuration.
• Ability to perform break-fix tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Strong skills in basic network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and users.
• Ability to work overnight shifts from Monday through Thursday.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
