Automotive Controller | Hampstead Pre-Owned

Hampstead pre-owned is looking for an experienced Automotive Controller to join our leadership team and oversee the accounting and financial operations of our busy, high-volume dealership.

We sell approximately 175–200 vehicles per month, and we're looking for a strong dealership accounting professional who understands the pace and demands of a successful pre-owned operation. This is an opportunity to take an important leadership role with a growing dealership and make a direct impact on our financial and operational performance.

What We Offer

Responsibilities

Lead all dealership accounting and financial operations
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain strong accounting controls and operational procedures
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and key financial performance metrics
Ensure accurate and timely accounting for a high-volume pre-owned operation
Maintain compliance with lender and regulatory requirements
Partner with dealership leadership on strategic and operational business decisions
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Coordinate with auditors, tax professionals, lenders, and other financial partners
