Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Zendesk experience (Support required; Guide, Explore, Talk, and Messaging strongly preferred)
- Proven experience architecting and scaling Zendesk in a SaaS environment
- Experience with integrated payments, fintech, or billing/support workflows is a strong plus
- Experience leading projects or managing people (directly or indirectly) preferred
Technical Skills
- Expert level understanding of Zendesk APIs, apps, and integration patterns
- Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, webhooks, middleware tools like Zapier, etc.)
- Experience with AI/automation tools within Zendesk (bots, macros, triage automation)
- Familiarity with data/reporting tools and building operational dashboards
- Comfort working with engineering teams on technical implementations
- Leadership & Communication
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience driving system governance and best practices
Nice to Have
- Zendesk certifications (e.g., Zendesk Administrator, Support, or Architect certifications)
- Experience in multi-brand Zendesk environments
- Background in CX operations or support leadership
