Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Computer Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and hold a bachelor's degree in a related field. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide top-notch support to end-users. Candidates must also pass a background check and possess relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Provide technical support for network systems, including LAN/WAN setups.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure system efficiency.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support activities.
- Train users on software applications and system usage.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to undergo and pass a background check.
