About the Role
This is not a passive "learn by watching" developer seat. As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you'll have real ownership from day one - writing Apex, building Lightning Web Components, integrating third-party platforms, and contributing to platform administration across our product. You'll work closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders, and you'll be expected to bring curiosity, initiative, and a quality-first mindset to everything you ship. This role brings an opportunity to work on a lot of interesting back-end and integration projects for our customers and internal team!
This is an ideal role for an early-career developer who is eager to grow fast and interested in building a long-term career on the Salesforce platform.
What You'll Do
Core Development
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled)
- Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom UI experiences
- Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems and third-party SaaS tools
- Support platform configuration including flows, validation rules, permission sets, and object modeling
Collaboration & Quality
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, data issues, and deployment blockers across sandbox and production environments
What We're Looking For
Required
- 0-2 years of hands-on development experience - internships and personal projects count
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates
Preferred
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or actively pursuing it)
- Experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, or declarative automation tools
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Salesforce DX / Gearset)
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and the Salesforce data model
- Exposure to Lightning Web Components or Aura components
Nice to Have
- Exposure to middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Skyvia or Boomi
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices
- Experience in a Salesforce ISV, OEM, or AppExchange product environment
