We are excited to welcome a Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence complex system architectures across all phases of the systems life cycle. You'll collaborate closely with leadership and technical teams to deliver solutions that are technically sound, innovative, and aligned with strategic objectives. Your expertise will ensure the success of mission-critical projects by driving high standards of engineering excellence.


What Youll Do:

  • Apply systems engineering principles across all phases of a systems life cycle: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement
  • Communicate technical considerations and recommend solutions to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of project work and deliverables
  • Engage with and deliver within multiple process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288, including:
  • Technical Processes: Stakeholder requirements, requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Project Processes: Planning, assessment, decision management, risk management, configuration management, and more
  • Enterprise Processes: Portfolio management, infrastructure management, and quality management
  • Agreement Processes: Acquisition and supply support


What You Bring:


Proven ability to:

  • Conduct systems engineering activities and prepare technical work products
  • Analyze technical alternatives and provide informed recommendations
  • Independently assess and deliver technical solutions for complex projects
  • Lead engineering efforts and supervise project teams when needed
  • Brief stakeholders and present technical project statuses effectively
  • Approve and deliver work products across ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas
  • Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more ISO/IEC 15288 areas
  • Skill in planning and developing projects with unique or highly complex features


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience
  • Full-Scope Poly
  • High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience
  • Masters degree in Engineering or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience
  • Ph.D. in Engineering or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience


Examples of qualifying engineering fields include:

Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, or Engineering Management.


Examples of related disciplines include:

Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Physics.
