Overview:
Our client is seeking a Liquidity Risk Management Consultant who brings a strong mix of technical and functional expertise. While the title emphasizes Liquidity Risk, the role requires hands-on skills across modern data and cloud technologies, along with a proactive and curious mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support liquidity risk management initiatives and related application development/deployment.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Databricks, Java/Python, Kafka, and Azure Cloud.
• Oversee and contribute to application deployment into production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with risk and technology teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Exhibit leadership qualities — taking ownership, driving initiatives, and influencing outcomes — without necessarily being in a formal lead role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in Databricks and Azure Cloud platforms.
• Strong programming background in Java and Python.
• Experience with Kafka and real-time data processing.
• Proven track record of deploying and managing applications in production environments.
• Solid understanding of liquidity risk management concepts within banking/financial services.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating curiosity, initiative, and leadership qualities.
