Tributary Building is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and appearance of a premier commercial property. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, coordinating repairs, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for tenants and visitors.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, responsive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing routine maintenance tasks while coordinating with vendors and property management as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and common areas
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, door hardware, and mechanical issues
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and facility issues
• Monitor building operations and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger problems
• Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service vendors when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, maintenance areas, and exterior grounds
• Assist with event setup, furniture movement, and building logistics as needed
• Replace filters, bulbs, ceiling tiles, fixtures, and other building components
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and property operating standards
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours maintenance calls when required
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and work order documentation
