This is a brand new store location! The grand opening for our Columbus, GA store is planned for December/January, and the new Retail Store Manager will be instrumental in the pre-opening setup.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A RETAIL STORE MANAGER:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- 3 years of retail management and supervisory experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statements
- A basic knowledge of electronics, including the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands
- Ability to effectively manage confrontation in a controlled and courteous manner
- Ability to calculate simple math, percentages, and ratios
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including peak seasons and special events
- Ability to work at multiple store locations
- Ability to travel locally up to 15% of the time
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more occasionally
- A degree in business or retail management is preferred
- Experience in commercial (outside) sales is preferred

As the Retail Store Manager, you lead by example, promoting a customer-first mentality while implementing retail and in-store selling programs. You set and monitor sales goals, collaborate with the commercial sales team, and support order processing and customer service. You oversee assistant managers to ensure compliance with merchandising, inventory, and safety standards, manage controllables to control costs, and schedule staff based on business needs. Additionally, you develop and supervise your team through coaching, recognition, and evaluations, while handling recruitment to build a high-performing team.
