Job Overview\n
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and identify patient needs, including clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual aspects.
- Recognize and intervene in life-threatening situations.
- Ensure safety measures are in place for both patients and staff.
- Utilize appropriate lifting techniques and equipment for patient movement.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, including the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
- May assume duties as a charge nurse when required.
- Maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications\n

- Current New York State RN license required.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is mandatory.
- Experience with MEDITECH software is required.
- Travel nursing experience is necessary.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Critical care and charge experience are preferred.
- Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation.
- Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months of employment.
