In this full-time position (35 hours per week), you’ll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide tailored speech and language therapy that helps students achieve their academic and social potential. Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active, current Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience or familiarity with school-based SLP services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements for school-based SLPs
