Our organization is actively looking for a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to become a part of our dedicated team!
The Emergency Medicine Department delivers around-the-clock care, staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. Our facility is supported by nursing personnel trained in critical care, holding certifications in ACLS and PALS.
Emergency services at our facilities encompass immediate interventions for medical or surgical crises, initiation of life-saving measures in various emergency scenarios, and management of chronic medical conditions as well as minor ailments and injuries for patients across all age groups.
Job Responsibilities:
- The physician will provide treatment to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate care for injuries and illnesses.
- Quick evaluation of diverse medical conditions is essential, requiring the ability to think critically and act swiftly to establish a preliminary diagnosis and decide on the best treatment plan.
- Collaboration with fellow providers and emergency staff members is a key aspect of this role.
- We prioritize physician well-being, maintaining staffing ratios that typically allow for fewer than two patients per hour.
- This position is full-time with regular hours.
- Shifts available: All shifts.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Eligibility for a medical license in Pennsylvania is required.
