The The Goddard School is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring Summer Floater to join our team for the summer season!

Position Details:

• Dates: July 1, 2026 August 28, 2026
• Schedule: Monday Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Location: Montville, NJ
• Position Type: Seasonal / Summer Employment

Age Groups Youll Support:
You will float between classrooms and assist teachers working with children ages:

• Infants (6 weeks old)
• Toddlers
• Preschool
• Pre-Kindergarten

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting lead teachers in classrooms as needed
• Supporting daily activities, play, and learning experiences
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
• Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play
• Assisting with classroom transitions, snacks, and daily routines
• Providing extra support throughout the school wherever needed

• Energetic and positive
• Comfortable working with children of all ages
• A team player who can adapt easily throughout the day
• Previous childcare or babysitting experience is a plus (but not required)
