Location: Juno Beach, FL | Type: Contract (8 Months) | Rate: $45/hour

Overview

Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls and Scheduler to join their Engineering and Construction Division. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead scheduling teams and work on cutting-edge energy projects including Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, and more. With 15+ years of experience required, this role offers the chance to drive project success across diverse technologies in the rapidly evolving energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams in creation, maintenance, and progress tracking of project schedules using Primavera P6
• Collaborate with Project Originators, Developers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Construction Managers
• Prepare monthly construction project reports comparing baseline to progress schedules
• Conduct critical path method analysis, resource loading, and cost loading
• Perform manpower submittal analysis and evaluation of update impacts
• Aid in recovery plan development and implementation
• Lead Schedule Review Meetings with all project participants
• Report project status and variances to management clearly and concisely

Requirements

• 15+ years of project controls and scheduling experience
• 5+ years of Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or equivalent experience
• Proven team leadership capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset with bias for action-oriented performance
• Experience with energy/utility projects preferred
