Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician with hotel experience to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our hotel's operations by ensuring all facilities and equipment are in optimal condition. This role is essential to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other fixtures.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and execute timely solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend the life of equipment.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels, ensuring necessary supplies and parts are available.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to uphold a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, including familiarity with tools and equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team when required.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel operations.
