About the Role
CSI Group in Wall, NJ is looking for a HubSpot Engineer to own and scale our HubSpot ecosystem. This role will work extensively with APIs, design custom solutions, build integrations, automate workflows, and work closely with tax and financial advisors, marketing, and executive teams to turn HubSpot into our single source of truth for data thats pertinent to the companys continuing growth.
What Youll Do
Design, build, implement, and maintain advanced, custom HubSpot CRM solutions
Build and manage custom integrations using HubSpot APIs (REST, webhooks) with Redtail, Clio and Canopy
Build advanced automation and workflows using custom objects and event-driven logic
Architect and maintain bi-directional data syncs between HubSpot and internal/external systems (Canopy, RedTail, Clio, UltraTax)
Develop and optimize workflows, automation, and custom objects
Develop backend services that interact with HubSpot APIs
Debug API issues, sync failures and data inconsistencies
Customize HubSpot CMS (themes, modules, templates) as needed
Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with marketing and tax and financial advisor teams on reporting, attribution, and lifecycle tracking
Own data modeling, validation and logic inside HubSpot
Write clean, maintainable code and technical documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve complex HubSpot issues
Follow best practices and document solutions and processes for long-term maintainability
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot in a technical capacity
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with HubSpot APIs, integrations, third-party integrations and custom apps (CRM, Webhooks, REST, OAuth, Private Apps, Engagements, Task Management)
Experienced with custom objects, workflows, and automation
Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
Experience building and maintaining custom integrations
Experience with CRM data models and workflows
Comfortable working with complex data models and CRM schemas
Strong debugging, system design, problem-solving and communication skills
HubSpot certifications (Developer, CMS, Operations, or Solutions Architect)
Experience with HubSpot CMS Hub development
Experience integrating HubSpot with RedTail, Stripe, Clio, and custom backends
Startup or high-growth environment experience
