Project Engineer

Position Overview
The Project Engineer will support the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and foster efficient project workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities at the job site.
  • Review and process Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
  • Utilize Bluebeam and Procore software for project documentation and management.
  • Support the project manager in maintaining project documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering or assistant project management in the construction industry.
  • Experience with multi-family + commercial construction projects preferred.
  • Proficient in using Bluebeam, Procore, and/or other construction management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, commercial projects, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
