Job Summary: This position is accountable for performing sorting and deburring operations and activities. Individuals must demonstrate core competencies required throughout the organization. These competencies include Safety, Quality, Production, and Behavior.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the immediate work area, as well as surrounding areas.
- Working knowledge of sorting processes and workflow.
- Ability to sustain a solid level [Competent] or better performance by meeting productivity and efficiency standards.
- Remove metal parts from metal skelton.
- Identify the quality level of parts that are being pulled.
- Count parts that have been pulled.
- Working knowledge of EPICOR for label creation and pallet relocation.
- Attention to detail.
- Use of appropriate tools for deburring and laser dross removal.
- Meets department standards for quality and accuracy.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Certified fork-lift driver.
- Notify Manager of concerns when help is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Professional communication with other employees, managers, and other Company employees.
