Job Description
As an Electrical Service technician at Radyne, you will work on maintaining and improving cutting-edge high-powered electronics, machine automation and Power Conversion Systems for Industrial Induction systems.
In this role you will rotate through various disciplines, alternating between in-house engineering projects and short duration field engineering/maintenance and service projects.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- PLC Programming Debug of Systems
- Field Service Repair - Industrial Electrical and mechanical inclined equipment, Water Systems, Material handling equipment and Preventative maintenance.
- I/O design and Electrical Wiring Design
- Electrical Cabinet and Systems Layout work
- Project Management
- Modeling and Simulation of Electric Power Circuits
- Embedded Systems
- In-house Product Testing
- In-house Repair of customer goods
Qualifications:
- BS in electrical Engineering or Associate Degree with equivalent experience required.
- Familiarity with working on high voltage and high power circuits a plus
- Must Know how to use Oscilloscope, Meters, High Voltage Tester.
- Must love to travel, up to 50%
- Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting Motor controls and Drives a plus
