Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager (2 Openings) – Financial Systems
Location: 1166 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, Non-Negotiable)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Contract-to-Hire; Not Guaranteed)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) | 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced Senior IT Project Managers to lead enterprise-level Financial Systems initiatives, with a strong preference for Oracle EBS experience. This role requires a confident, senior-level professional who can operate independently, engage executive stakeholders, and take full ownership of project delivery.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing full lifecycle financial system implementations in global environments and will be capable of ramping up quickly to function as a 100% individual contributor within 30 days.
This is a high-visibility role requiring executive presence and the ability to lead conversations at the senior leadership level.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Strategy
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage full project lifecycle delivery from initiation through closure.
- Utilize formal project planning and management tools to drive execution.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Oversee both Waterfall and Agile/hybrid project environments.
- Ensure structured governance and adherence to PM best practices.
Financial Systems Leadership
- Manage enterprise Financial Systems projects (Oracle EBS strongly preferred; SAP acceptable).
- Deliver complex system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Ensure integration with business processes and enterprise systems.
Risk & Change Management
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes with proper documentation and approvals.
- Proactively prevent issues before escalation.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, project sponsors, and executive leadership.
- Provide concise, high-quality status reporting.
- Confidently lead meetings and “carry the room” with senior-level audiences.
- Communicate effectively across global regions (LATAM, EMEA, NA).
Resource & Quality Management
- Manage personnel and project resources efficiently.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive accountability across project teams.
Project Closure
- Ensure all deliverables are completed and formally closed.
- Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–10 years of Project Management experience
- Proven experience managing Financial Systems projects (required)
- Strong Oracle EBS experience preferred (SAP or similar acceptable)
- Minimum of 5 full project lifecycles completed, ideally within multinational organizations
- Experience working in global environments (LATAM, EMEA, NA)
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong project planning and management tool expertise
- Demonstrated experience engaging C-level stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently and ramp up quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification (nice to have, not required)
- Experience in complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of governance and structured project reporting
