One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Engineer for a position located in either Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Denver, Colorado. The Project Engineer will support energy efficiency programs by providing technical expertise, developing conservation solutions, and collaborating across teams to implement demand-side management initiatives.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and previous building sciences, energy efficiency, or regulated utilities experience.
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Work with Technical Resource Manuals (TRMs) to support accurate and compliant program implementation.
- Create standard rebate programs and offerings.
- Perform the day-to-day engineering in assigned technical areas.
- Construct analyses in the technical-financial models that meet the state regulatory and corporate guidelines.
- Support innovative initiatives, such as smart meter data disaggregation.
- Offer technical consulting, assist in the development of new products and services, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Support regulatory processes by maintaining program structures and offering expertise on the technical aspects of new services.
- Utilize tools such as Excel and Salesforce for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with program managers, marketing assistants, trade partners, customers, and regulators.
Requirements of the Project Engineer:
- Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited school
Experience in building sciences, energy efficiency, or regulated utilities. - Experience with demand-side management (DSM) is preferred.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with HVAC design or energy auditing is nice to have.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
