Wage: $22.00 - $24.00

Hours: This is not a remote position it is an on-site only positionprimarily Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 4:15pm. Will be required to be part of the on-call rotation. Occasional weekends and after hours as needed for maintenance and patching.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of college or technical school
  • A work background of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with M365 applications

Essential Functions:

  • Must provide training to agency employees as assigned.
  • Knowledge of PC operation, construction, and installation.
  • Knowledge of PC software, including installation of system programs, utility programs and user application programs.
  • Ability to think logically, analyze and troubleshoot PC hardware/software problems as well as network connectivity issues.
  • Skill in assisting staff with varying levels of computer expertise in the operation of PC software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Available to work overtime and on-call as assigned.
  • Have a general understanding of IT fundamentals inside an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with all team members

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for assisting with employee training.
  2. Installation/Maintenance of PC hardware/software.
  3. Install and troubleshoot Network printers.
  4. Provide "Help Desk" support for assigned Computer Support Requests.
  5. Support of Microsoft applications and systems.
  6. Support of wireless devices on the network.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Make repairs on defective computer equipment.
  2. Lift, maneuver and transport computers, components, and boxes.
  3. Install network wiring when needed.
  4. Responsible for day-to-day equipment inventory and with annual computer equipment inventory.
  5. Install and troubleshoot common end-user application software.
  6. Responsible for installing PC hardware/software.
  7. End user support of other business-related software and hardware.
  8. Work cooperatively as a member of a service-oriented team, using a high level of tact to ensure a good working relationship with all agency staff.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of IT/ IT Operations Manager.

Additional Responsibilities: (Dependent on post 90-day evaluation)

  1. Assist with Active Directory user and computer account tasks (i.e. password reset, file access, other domain support tasks).
  2. Granted Workstation administration access for elevated tasks
  3. Support of virtual environment (Omnissa Client).
  4. Assorted project lead roles based on organizational needs and individual performance
