We are seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair.
Responsibilities:
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Install faucets, water heaters and other water fixtures
- Ability to work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
- Install lamps, switches and other electrical fixtures
- Maintain the property’s HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the apartments functioning properly
- Installing A/C Thermostats
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Apply new coats of paint to minor touch ups and damage repairs on apartment walls
- Replace/Repair doors, door casing and baseboards when needed
- Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
- Order and replace broken parts or equipment
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space, including equipment and parts inventory
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid and active license in HVAC
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle physical workload
